Avalon Emerson

Avalon Emerson’s music feels a bit like walking up the stairs from Berghain to Panorama Bar while the two rooms are magically in sync. Her intimately ecstatic, murky yet luminous club-ready tracks paved her way to become one of the most favoured artists of her generation.

After growing up in Arizona, Emerson eventually (via San Francisco) settled in Berlin. After releasing few EPs, her breakthrough year was 2016 following the EP for the label Whities, a release that encompasses her overall approach to music and perhaps outlines what to expect from her Prague debut set at the No Borders party: echoes of yesterday’s dance processed through a one-of-a-kind musical mind.

Warming up and closing the club will be our in-house [pun intended] selectors Møreti and PSJ, both widely competent Prague-based djs when classy house and acidic disco is in demand.
