The party with no sonic constraints is back with Denmark’s idiosyncratic dj Courtesy and local explorers Mutuju and Møreti.
Co-founder of the Apeiron Crew, Najaaraq Vestbirk aka Courtesy embodies the adventurous metamorphosis that the global dance scene underwent in recent years: genres became obsolete and the impenetrable male dominance in the dj booth finally collapsed. Along with Avalon Emerson or Dr. Rubinstein, Courtesy heralds a new wave of selectors who bend and displace sounds of the past and merge them with contemporary club mutations drawn from Acid, House, Electro or EBM into a fast-paced, heterogenous lecture in dance. Expect booming low & translucent high.
Warming up and closing the night will be two Ankali regulars. With penchant for Detroit house and relocated tribalism, Møreti, is one of the most respected djs of the local scene with a one-of-a-kind ability to surprise with every set. Mutuju co-founded the eclectic party series City Surfer a few years back and in his sets draws from early Disco, Schengen Techno and East Coast House.
