For one night we join forces with the good guys behind Prague’s subtle groove headquarters Wildt and take it it easy with one of the finest djs from London – Jane Fitz.
The sounds played in Wildt, a tiny club tucked away at the end of Holešovice next to the Stromovka park, are largely defined by the space itself: the main room inside is small and cosy, while the garden open in summer says ‘take it easy’. Their bookings revolve mostly around minimal house and dub techno, and the string of residents and recurring djs are often joined by guests from abroad [Max Vaahs or Shaun Reeves are among those].
For the night when the planets of Ankali and Wildt collide we’ve invited Jane Fitz, a London-based dj and promoter who embodies the two vibes at best to the hilt. Fitz, a veteran of the British scene, is a versed selector who seamlessly ties together laid back minimalistic records with swift techno, house or raw acid. The word spread gradually and her touring schedule these days mirrors the growing international recognition.
Warm-up and closing sets will be split between two residents of Wildt and Ankali. Alex Neivel is a co-founder of Wildt and a dj with an ability to make you move with the most stripped back minimalistic techno and house. Sinnan on the other hand achieves similar results with acidic ‘kosmische’ techno and other reduced & bleepy trax.
