NEXT SATURDAY we have the pleasure of hosting Kontronatura‘s Prague debut at Planeta Za, celebrating our 2 years of dancing and creating together…..and being arguably the hottest dancefloor in Prague. It was a no-brainer we had to bring Kontronatura to echo the waves of Sao Paulo’s queer underground scene.

Kontronatura’s sound is focused on percussive, hypnotic, and fast-paced beats such as Baile Funk, Kuduro, Bubbling, Dembow, Tribal Bass, Techno and Trance. His sonic research connects past and future by blending afro-diasporic rhythms with disruptive sounds from Latin America. It is driven by a deep commitment to the liberation of bodies and desires on the dancefloor, challenging linear narratives and invoking trance states through rhythm.

As a transmasculine artist, Achille (Kontronatura) understands that his body has political action in response to the lack of representation in the scene, in which trans bodies have little or no access. He takes back for himself the raw material of his existence as the greatest tool to position himself as an artist.
