Uprising – a dedicated club environment for emerging & lateral sounds – welcomes the California-based artist Mozhgan along with an emerging local talent Still Sparkling and our resident Sinnan.

In 2011 Mozhgan started “We Are Monsters,” a party focused on contemporary, dark, and mysterious dance floor sounds, showcasing her affinity for 80’s synthesizers, vintage drum machines, ethnic rhythms, 303 inspired bass lines, and moody vocals. 2015 was her breakthrough year and the Iranian-born artist is currently providing dark, eclectic sounds across some of the finest dancefloors and festivals of the world, including Nachtdigital, De School, Primavera Sound, Mutek, Dekmantel and even DC-10 in Ibiza.

Joining her behind the decks at her premiere performance in Ankali will be our resident Sinnan who has recently developed his selection toward more eclectic sounds. Opening the floor will be an up-and-coming DJ uprising from the Ankali community: he goes by the name Still Sparkling and chances are you’ll be hearing from- and about him more in the future.
