Club Scene Football Cup is a friendly and very unprofessional football gathering of Prague club scene collectives, and people who enjoy football, good company, and a little party afterwards. The tournament kicks-off at noon this Saturday (June 27) at Nízkoprahový klub Decima YMCA. There are 9 teams playing (4 players on the field), icluding amongst others anticipated all stars like FC Lunchmeat, Bike Jesus, Fuchs2, but also dark horses like FK Žíža or Los Goleadors. FC Ankali joins of course too.

Format
9 teams split into 3 groups of 3. Every team plays 2 group stage matches. The top team from each group advances, joined by the best runner-up across all groups (wild card) – meaning 4 teams in total move on to the knockout stage: the 3 group winners, plus the one second-placed team with the best goal difference among all three groups (if there are two teams with same amount of goals, they’ll do a penalty tiebreaker). From there: two semifinals, a third place playoff, and the final.

Match times
Group stage: 1×10 minutes. Semifinals, third place playoff and final: 2×10 minutes. The referee may add up to 3 minutes of stoppage time. The clock runs continuously – no stops for interruptions. 5 minute break between every match.

Teams & players
4 players on the pitch (3 outfield + 1 keeper). Each team must have at least 1 non-cis male player on the pitch at all times. If a team is short on players, borrowing from another team is allowed. Throw-ins are taken as kick-ins.

On site
Bar opens at 12:00. Hot dogs, beer and soft drinks available throughout the day.

Afterparty
We’ll be hosting an afterparty at Planeta Za from 9pm. Free entry till 11.
