Pride Edition: Shella Radio x Biennale Matter of Art

Discussions & reading and sound performance & Pride Week vibes in Planeta Za with Shella Radio, Biennale Matter of Art and Ankali.
The program kicks off in the garden with two debates focused on open queer topics. The first will address building safe spaces for the queer community. Curator and founder of the SVĚTOVA 1 Artspace Zai Xu and Jana & Kara, members of the local SafeSpace Bookstore will share their experiences in creating such spaces.
This will be followed by a discussion titled Queer Art as a Form of Resistance, featuring local artist Jan Durina, Elja Plíhal from kroužek intersekce, and Jaroslava Tomanová, cocurator of the Biennale Matter of Art 2026. The program will conclude with a reading and sound performance by Adriana Buss and Sopho Sheitnishvili.
For the entire evening, Youssef Motus’s Qworkaholics Anonymous IV Installation from SVĚTOVA 1 will be showcased in Planeta Za.
