⤑ We decided to do our gathering differently this time. We wanted to get to spend more time with you and get to know you so we decided to host 2 club nights till our next off-location in December. Benedikt Frey & Jan Loup will join us from Berlin alongside Epoché & Kosmic Skaut, all occupying Planeta Za for the night.

⤑ Benedikt Frey, the founder of the label Love Pain Sunshine Rain, has a wide sphere of interest in music culture that does not only impact the timbre of his productions, it furthermore affects various ways he builds up arrangements and how he develops mixing decisions and all kinds of rhythmic structures. Frey’s work represents the interdependence of exploring and producing music. For him, music is not a conversation but a journey that you take to discover. In his own words: “There is always something I feel the urge to realize and play with, the more I know about the profound mystery of music the less I feel the necessity to talk about it. It is an ongoing work in progress, there are no words needed”

⤑ Epoché is one of NŪR’s co-creators & a co-founder of the now-defunct Čičinek 2, a warehouse venue in Žižkov that had a short-lived yet strong impact on the local scene at the time. His latest set for NŪR was a surreal dream and his goal is to create a story, to take you on a voyage. In his own words, his selections serves ”For me and people to get lost in abstraction”.

⤑ Kosmic Skaut is one of our favorite locals who invites you to take a break from your life and join him on his euphoric break, or in his words ”my goal is to get people and myself to a state of ecstasy, to temporarily change the state of mind”.

⤑ We couldn’t find better words to describe Jan Loup’s music, her own do the best job: “these days I usually love to play with noisy and glitchy breaks, roughly dubstep, industrial & bass music. I always tend to play with the texture of the tracks to mix them together, often I have this image of a post apocalyptical party ritual, with sharp tunes and people hitting metal barrels to take part in the music.”
