May 27, 2017. Ankali is opening its space to the public for the very first time. The fresh door paint is still wet, some pieces of equipment are still missing, but the soundsystem is there and we’re extremely excited for this endeavour to begin.

In the 6 years since that day we’ve grown, expanded and developed quite a bit. While things have gotten more complex and several new layers of paint were added on those doors, we keep having the same kind of goosebumps from the excitement before we open them on any given night. Sure, some of those nights fall through the memory cracks later on, but we keep opening the doors of Ankali & Planeta Za eagerly every time – craving for that special night, hoping for the stars to align. 

On May 26 & 27 this year we’re aligning the stars ourselves – and we are proud to say – with one of the most diverse and fun line-ups we’ve ever put together. Our 6th Anniversary will take place on 4 floors throughout the whole building from Friday night till Sunday morning. Without a fixed ending time as usual 🎉
