Ankali #16 – Mor Wen [New Beginnings]

When we gathered in Karlín Jungle to celebrate the 4th year of club’s existence it was more than just another birthday party. We wanted to put an end to the hardest year we ever had, symbolically. To leave behind, but not to forget. We needed to honor the little things we were able to do in the past year, but we also wanted to start anew, refresh. To raise glasses to a survival. Hence the subtitle – New Beginnings – and what an intense one that was.

We’ve managed to capture some of that intensity on our memory cards and we are publishing it as four memory artefacts: 41 minutes of gloomy yet warm magic of Exhausted Modern; 137 minutes of Claudia playing with Marie Pravda, both ablaze and unstoppable; 2 hours of UK, dub and breaks from Vision of 1994, all smiles and sunshines; and 2 hour journey with Mor Wen, pulling you into uncharted territories, home of her own.
